Traffic filters

Adtransfer offers three types of filters for incoming traffic. There are platform-wide filters which are not editable, platform-wide filters that can be edited and redirect page level filters which can be enabled or disabled per each individual supply endpoint.

Static platform-wide filters

There are two such filters that can be enabled for all the traffic going through the platform. These are :

  • Host IP blocking - All requests made for IP addresses coming from known hosting providers will be blocked.
  • Proxy blocking - All requests made for IP addresses which are identified as proxies will be blocked.

These filters can be enabled via the platform settings as explained in the Available settings section of the documentation

Dynamic platform-wide filters

These filters are directly related to the single IP blocklist, IP netmask blocklist and ASNAME blocklist from the platform's Custom filters.

  • Custom ASNAME blocklist - Rejects requests made by IP addresses which belong to ASNAMEs that are within your blocklist.
  • Custom IP blacklist - Rejects requests made by IP addresses can be found within the single IP blocklist or match any IP netmask range.

These filters can be enabled via the platform settings as explained in the Available settings section of the documentation

Redirect page level filters

These filters can be enabled or disabled for each individual supply endpoint when adding the endpoint or at any given point when editing the endpoint..
